How it works

A resale marketplace built for dance, not adapted from one for clothes.

Every costume and dancewear brand sizes differently, condition claims are hard to verify from a photo alone, and nobody wants their kid's costume showing up sold as-is with damage no one mentioned. WildCard is built around solving those three problems specifically.

Selling on WildCard

1
List it in about 10 minutes

Tell us the item type, category, brand (or custom), sizes, condition, and price. Upload 2 photos plus a highly recommended on-stage or worn cover photo — we'll offer a quick lighting fix and an easy way to cover a face with a sticker before it uploads. We show you a recommended price based on the catalog retail and your item's condition, but you set the final number.

2
It goes live right away

No waiting on a reviewer — your listing posts the moment you submit it. We hold the buyer's payment until they confirm the item matches your listing, so you're covered either way.

3
It sells — you ship within 7 days

Once someone buys it, you have 7 days to ship, with reminders along the way. We hold the buyer's payment until they confirm the item matches your listing, then release your payout minus WildCard's commission.

Buying on WildCard

1
Search however you'd actually describe it

One smart search bar — try "cowgirl duet with fringe" or "boys size 8 hip hop." No digging through filters to find what you mean.

2
Trust the size, trust the photos

Every listing is converted to the WildCard master size (see our sizing guide) so you're comparing apples to apples across brands. Photos are the seller's own photos of the actual item — not a stock image.

3
Your payment is protected

We hold your payment until you confirm the item matches the listing. If it doesn't, you get a full refund — no arguing with a stranger required.

Our honesty rules

  • A clear, well-lit on-stage or worn cover photo is highly recommended — it's the first thing buyers see.
  • Anything short of "new with tags" needs a specific checklist of what's wrong, or a written description — a vague "good condition" isn't enough on its own.
  • Listings go live immediately, but buyers are protected — if the item doesn't match your claim, they get a full refund.
  • Repeated dishonest listings get a warning, then a selling timeout, then a permanent ban.
